Apple is planning to announce support for Apple Pay in the United Kingdom during the WWDC keynote on Monday morning. A report from The Telegraph. The report claims that Apple Pay will launch in the UK. within two months of its WWDC debut. Mike Cowan, a Senior VP at MasterCard, told the publication that his company is “absolutely” ready to support Apple Pay abroad. The major bank Lloyds is a planned parter at launch. The U.K. could be the first country to see the expansion of Apple Pay since its US launch with iOS 8.1 last fall. There are also rumours of Apple Pay hitting Canada in the fall with the public release of iOS 9 and further expansion to China in the near future.
