Apple today released a few updates to their devices such as iPhone, Apple Watch, Apple TV and Mac. Specifically regarding the Apple Watch, Apple released WatchOS 2.2 beta 2 which is a follow up beta to the previously released one which allowed for multiple Apple Watches to be paired with a single iPhone.
What’s new to Watch OS 2.2 beta 2?
The most noticeable new feature is a better and redesigned “Maps” app which has a lot more functionality to it: includes ‘Popular’ and nearby places that one might find useful.
The new “Maps” app is a lot like the one for iPhone with most features already being on the iPhone version and others not being able to make it to the Apple Watch build. However, in most cases, it may always be quicker to pull out your iPhone and more quickly search for your destination through there which will come with less load time.
It is still unknown when Apple will release the final 2.2 build to public and if it will be released for public beta testers.
