After the incredible special event held today in San Francisco, Apple has seeded the golden master (GM) version of OS X 10.11 El Capitan to registered developers. The golden master is usually the final version of OS X El Capitan that will be released to the public on Wednesday, September 30. The exception to this will be if any major bugs are found, in which case Apple with seed a second GM build.
The update, build number 15A282b, is available both through the software update in the Mac App Store and through the Apple Developer Centre.
We currently do not know if there are any major changes in the GM over the previous beta, but it is unlikely seeing as previous beta releases have focused on performance improvements, following the overall theme of the new update which is primarily performance focused.
